Entertainment powerhouse, Zylofon Media seems determined to make a difference in the entertainment industry as it fulfills its promise to invest $1M into the creative industry. The company inaugurated its Art Fund on Friday 23/3/2018 at East Legon where the media and beneficiaries of the fund were gathered together to honor the graceful occasion. The heartstring of $1M fund is to bring to light the passionate dreams of creative content developers; film makers, artists, cinematographers, poets, special projects, etc.

Socrates Sarfo, Ruth Beniwood, Nana Brew, Oheneba Kissi and Stella Kekeli Atakorah were introduced by heads of communication, Sammy Flex as the engines to run the administrative affairs of the Art Fund as well as making known each person’s executive role on the board. The colourful part of the launch is, qualified applicants who applied for the loan received their monies as promised to they had to go through rigorous and professional process acquiring the money.

The first beneficiaries of the fund included; Alhaji Abdul Salam Mumun of Venues Films Production, who received  an amount of Gh¢239.500, followed by Mustapha Adams of AA Production, made away with Gh¢289.800, Chief Moomen of Bambu Center walked away with Gh¢100.00. Three other beneficiaries said to be on a special project including  Sadick Sulley received an amount of money with a Laptops, phone, other gadgets to help with short skit productions whereas Ernestina, also known as ’Dhat Gyal’ received a full educational scholarship package starting this year and last but not the least, Nana Kwaku, young man who premieres movies to children in Takoradi got Gh¢10,000 and other gadgets to enhance proficiency of his work.
