With the trend and controversies surrounding Shatta Wale’s #ReignAlbum and few of the singles released off the album have had their own share of public attention, criticism and what have you. The buzz around album is very healthy regardless of the controversies surrounding it. One thing you can’t take away from Shatta is, his ways of scheming out strategic plans to market his brand.
After listening to his interviews on Joy and Citi Fm, I deduced that if only everything Shatta said will be executed with regards to how the album will be promoted and marketed, the women empowerment initiative, events across all the 10 regions among other things. It will surely be a win-win for him this year. This is someone who went on hibernation for 10 years to learn and equip himself with all he need to be the “Champion” he’s known for. He understands how the game works, no wonder everything he does be it good or bad works for him.
Another key factor we shouldn’t overlook is the loyalty of his fan base. Their unconditional support is as bright as the coming forth of the sun (morning), in the cloud of an early shower. A contributive factor to the success he has amassed for himself. His fans will do everything to rocket their king to the top.
