It was the first Yaa Pono was performing after his hugely controversial diss track, ‘Gbee Nabu’ and so the event saw elevated levels of excitement.
Hence the Trade Fair Centre in Accra was filled with scores of music lovers who had come to see for themselves who reigned supreme between Yaa Pono and Shatta Wale who was also on the bill.
Put together by Y FM with support from Guiness, the night also saw supporting performances from Confession hitmaker Kofi Kinaata, Tee Phlow, Jupitar, Eye Judah, Shegah among others.
