As the dew upon the roses warms and melts the morning light so did Patoranking’s #Wilmer album listening session warm and melt the hearts of patrons at Zen Gardens last Tuesday night, 22/5/2019. It was a night to remember because, it was structured in a way to create album of pictures in people’s mental archives.

The album which is dedicated to Patoranking’s beautiful princess by name Wilmer attracted most gatekeepers in the industry, artists, bloggers, dancers, artists managers, actresses, etc to its listening session. Blakk Rasta, Andy Dosty, Elorm Beenie, Ameyaw Debrah, Nii Atakora, Sammy Flex, George Britton, King Lagazee, Jonilar, Samini, Praiz, Lydia Forson, Afia Schwarzenegger, Wendy Shey, Epixode, Kojo Cue, Lil Shaker Kwesi, Quamina MP, Kofi Mole, Babs, Dance god Lloyd and other notable people. Feedbacks after the session was meritorious.

The album comes in a sense of meditative content with 12 solid songs. It embodies a sensation of golden sweetness and delight, hard work, commitment, passion, creativity and how determined he is to be the next thing after Bob Marley. He made his love for his daughter concrete when he brought the Wilmer album to life. It only goes a long way to tell how much the album means to him as a family man and business man.

The shocking point at the session was, he still has memories of his early days in Ghana like fresh palm wine. He shared a story of how he was awe-inspired to see how Samini and Tic Tac shot their music video back in the days by kind courtesy MTV. Moving on, he expressed how much love Ghanaians have showered and embraced him with over the years. Adding that Ghana has played a significant role in his life as an artist. He also confessed he has learnt a lot from Samini as an artist to perfect his artistry.

It’s by far one of the best listening sessions I’ve personally been to aside Samini’s #Untamed album listening session.
