Ghanaian doctor cum rapper Laylow last Saturday had the opportunity to meet and perform for Chinese billionaire and co-founder of Alibaba, Jack Ma and popular Chinese actor, Jet Li when they graced an invent in Accra.

The young DJ had the honour to perform at the maiden edition of the Africa Netpreneurship Summit, which took place at the Accra International Conference, on Saturday, November 16, 2019.

The “No Sleep” rapper performed a special song titled “Jack Ma” which he made for the business mogul.

“I saw the African heroes show a few weeks ago on social media. it’s a show Jack Ma brought for Africans to help entrepreneurs so I made a song about him as a symbol of a great entrepreneur something the contestants of the show aspire to .The next day his reps call me that Jack Ma loves the song he wants me to perform live .The song is about 2 of the biggest business minds the world has ever seen ,it is an inspiration to every individual striving to reach that mark ” he said.

Dr. Laylow has been doing music for a while now, but took a break to concentrate on his studies at the medical school.
Before he was signed with Magnum, one of the top notches in music production in Ghana; but they had to amicably part ways due to a set of unfortunate incidents. This is how he became an independent artiste.

Currently Dr. layLow has to his successes four songs including the likes of Born one, God bless the hustle, and the song currently making waves in the country, No Sleep.

About his inspiration, he mentioned the likes of Drake and Sarkodie among others.

Dr. Laylow also wishes to do a remix of his song “No Sleep” with either Sarkodie or Kwesi Arthur, or both these artistes.
