Born on 27 January 1998 by the name Okechukwu Emeka, known in the showbiz circles as “Reaction”, a name his friends call him with from childhood. He is a Nigerian by nationality; born and raised in Benue State, he had his childhood education at Kusaki College Gboko.

Reaction was stimulated through the strong desire of his mother in 2012 as she forced him to participate in praises and worship at church; he had no option than to join the church choir.  He was very regular at all church gathering after he joined; whereby he effortlessly participated in singing every song. It was after he joined the choir that he honed the skill to enrich his love for music. Since then the rest of Reaction’s life story is history. Aside joining the church choir, he grew up listening to different varieties of music genre. he believes he is a  universal artist, as such he has more than 25 songs under his belt which are yet to be released, but registered and announced his presence in the industry with his monster hit single “dab” featuring Ghana’s dancehall general Jupitar, a song produced by Brainy Beatz. The budding prodigy reckons himself as universal artist, who falls under the clouds of afro dancehall, afro beats, reggae, RnB and soul music genre.  He is progressively building a brand that shows clearly the evidence of having an abundance of that very rare artistic quality known as creative intelligence, certifying him as a huge music export. He is self-conscious and introspective about what he writes and voices out on a record, he mixes deep wisdom and common sense on his records. He has successfully collaborated with few Ghanaian heavyweights such as Samini, Jupitar, Hus Eugene among others, whereas he is looking forward to collaborate with international acts like Wiz Kid, Davido, Falz, Paotranking, Stonebwoy, etc.

Reaction relocated to Ghana to embark and professionalize his music career though he has been to Countries like South Africa and couple of other states in Nigeria. As an artist who has the ability, he carefully molds a steady path in life, he believes in bringing back good music as he considers music as a moral law that gives soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to imagination, charm and gaiety to life and everything. His goal as an artist is to bring back good music to the soul, body and mind. Starting off his career, there were embarrassing moments as he recalls when he was giving an opportunity to perform at an occasion in school. Immediately he stepped up on stage to perform, everyone started walking away without paying attention to him. Not all these and other harsh circumstance could break him; it rather helped him form a firm entrenched habit for music. In one word music is like the air he breaths, his greatest fear in life is going back to square one (grace to grass). He focuses with clear ambition to carry the torch of determination and self-motivation into the future. Reaction considers himself a mega star, who will never allow his good, better, best to ever rest. God is his only role model, pillar of strength and hope.

Signed to Avis Records on a $500,000 contract, a Ghanaian/Nigeria record company, Reaction’s songs and videos will diligently be distributed worldwide under the record label. The record label is managed by Farouk Laryea and other experienced and prolific media geeks who are ready to uplift the image of Reaction. He is ready to unleash the fire in him and take the world by storm.
