This past weekend was what my people would call ‘madt fun’! Why? MTN Nigeria kicked off its annual CSR campaign with class, style and well let’s add ‘panache’ in there…
Apparently, this campaign has been going on for 11 years in all MTN offices around the world. I didn’t even know that there were MTN Offices in the Middle east and Asia!
One of the things I found pretty interesting was the enormity of the activities for the next 21 days. There will be Youth Empowerment, to Rhesus Disease Awareness, and a Career Fair, among so many other amazing activities.
But the part that had me jumping up (I’m still a good person even if helping people didn’t make me jump up) was when Chidinma got on stage to sing! I have loved this girl since the moment she opened her mouth on the Project Fame Stage.
She stepped on stage and belted out knock-out song after knock out song just for me. Oh yes, the place was filled MTNners (that’s what MTN Staff call themselves) but I believe and I know, that Chidinma was singing to only me!
