Budding Reggae youth, Abban earns his first nomination with “Say No To Drugs” under Irie Ites Studio at the “Bangerz of the Quarter” Awards organized by Muse Africa.

The song that was released to educate and enlighten the citizen, particularly the youths on the manhandle of Tramadol, Codeine, Cocaine and different drugs is up for the “Introlude Song of the Quarter” alongside ‘Uber Driver’ by Wendy Shay, ‘Abena’ by Kayso, and ‘Seven’ by Kwesi Slay.

In a Press release, the head of editorial for Muse Africa, George Wiredu Duah, explained the idea as a way to celebrate the biggest songs that made us dance, think and relax every quarter.

In his ending words, George Wiredu Duah, head of Muse Africa editorial stressed that voting for the awards are done on social media – i.e. @MuseAfrica and on the website MuseAfrica.com.

The social media public gets to have 60% of the votes while a team made up of DJ and TV/Radio presenters plus Muse Music Curators gets 40%.

Congratulations to Abban on earning this nomination.
